Principal

Mr. Barocio brings with him several years of experience as an assistant principal, associate principal, and principal. His experiences working with diverse communities and in Title 1 schools has prepared him well to effectively engage all students, teachers, and staff at Hughes Elementary School. Mr. Barocio has served as a school leader in the East Side, Cupertino, Berryessa, and Alum Rock Union School Districts.  Mr. Barocio attended the University of California, Berkeley for undergrad, San Jose State University for his Teaching Credential, and Teachers College at Columbia University for his Masters Degree in Educational Leadership.
